.XXX domain for porn content is approved Tuesday, September 28th, 2010
We have good news, I guess, as you got from title porn industry awarded it’s own domain .xxx that still needs a final approval from ICANN, but I think there will be no problem with that.
There is a few issues why we need a xxx domain for porn industry only. Of cause we need more porn sites and as we all know, almost all the good and possible names on .com, .net, and the others are taken and it’s very hard to pick up a new name which will relative to your needs. The other issue is to control the porn niche, in other words, to be able to block it. The last researches has shown that people are more and more watching porn at work and this is a big problem.
